Property
Adam Geldard is an Associate in the Property Practice Group. He practises principally in the area of property law, specialising in strata titling law, property development, commercial and residential conveyancing, property finance and commercial leasing.
Adam joined Appleby in 2007 and has been working on matters for Dart, The Ritz Carlton and Butterfield Bank. Prior to joining Appleby, Adam was a senior associate at leading Australian law firm, Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Brisbane. Here he acted for clients such as National Australia Bank, GE Real Estate, Telstra Corporation and UBS. Before Mallesons, Adam worked for other top tier Australian and international law firms in Brisbane and Sydney. He has also worked in London as an in-house attorney for a local authority.
In Australia, Adam was the co-ordinator for the continuing legal education program for the Brisbane Property Construction and Environmental Group. Adam has also presented at many seminars on developments in property law and property related tax issues.
Adam obtained his Bachelor of Laws through QUT in Brisbane, Australia and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 1996. He is also admitted in New South Wales. Adam is a member of the Queensland Law Society and is a Commissioner for Declarations.
